Half of flights departed Ronaldsway on time on Tuesday, with 546 passengers departing the island’s airport.
With 10 flights departing, that means five went on time (and that my maths GCSE was not wasted).
The top reasons for delay were agin adjusted inbound arrivals to avoid ATC closures and late inbound flights.
Over the delays, four were delayed by up to an hour, with one delayed by up to two hours.
The airport said: ‘Yesterday, we experienced a number of delays, largely due to late inbound aircraft. We understand disruptions are inconvenient and thank passengers for their patience and understanding.’
