Better Day for Airport
The only cancelled flights were the in and outbound Gatwick easyJet flights (well it was Sunday).
Sunday saw a more successful day for Ronaldsway, with 61% of flights operating on time.
With 13 scheduled departures, the airport saw eight flights on time, with four delays and the Gatwick flight being cancelled.
In its daily Facebook post, the airport said it ‘experienced ongoing disruptions due to ATC restrictions across Europe and the UK, causing compounded delays throughout the day’.
It added: ‘We appreciate that disruptions can be inconvenient, and advise those impacted to contact their respective airlines for further information and assistance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during these challenging circumstances.’
With 736 passengers going through Ronaldsway, one flight was delayed by up to 30 mins, two were delayed by up to an hour and one flight was delayed by up to two hours.
