As you dash about the shops looking for some final bits, the first direct flight to Tenerife will be lifting into the skies above Ronaldsway heading for some winter sun.

The average daily temp in Tenerife is in the mid-20’s Celsius, so those travelling today will be enjoying a warm, sunny Christmas Day this year.

The series of direct flights operate every Friday from now until January 26.
