Manannan’s afternoon sailing to Liverpool has been delayed, with the Steam Packet saying engineers are on assessing the situation.
The sailing was meant to depart at 3pm but is still in the harbour.
The company has issued an update to say: ‘The vessel has began loading foot passengers and vehicle passengers and will depart as soon as loading has been completed.’
This evening’s return sailing is also delayed, with passengers asked to check in as normal.
