Mountain Road to be Reviewed at 7am
A call on whether the Mountain Road can reopen will be made at 7am this morning after snow and icy conditions forced its closure overnight.
The A18 remains shut between the Gooseneck and the Creg-ny-Baa after Police confirmed the closure at around 10.20pm on Tuesday.
The DoI is set to reassess the route early today.
It comes as little surprise after the Ronaldsway Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for snow affecting the Isle of Man.
The warning, which remains in place until 7, highlights the risk of snow on higher ground, with precipitation falling as snow on hills between 700 and 1,200 feet before turning to rain.
