The Steam Packet has cancelled its next four sailings, including tonight’s trip to Heysham.

The 7.45pm sailing tomorrow will be decided upon by 5.30pm on Thursday evening.
Based on the current forecast, Friday morning’s sailing is due to sail as planned.
The Met Office has said: ‘Strong southwest winds will continue to affect the Island around the next two high tides (23:55 Wed & 12:11 Thurs), leading to moderate overtopping of waves and a risk of debris in exposed areas a couple of hours either side of tide. Areas most at risk include: Shore Road (Rushen), Castletown Promenade, central and northern parts of Douglas Promenade (including the northern section of the promenade parking), as well as Laxey and Ramsey Promenade.’
