Steam Packet Plots More Belfast Sailings
The Steam Packet has said it’s planning for more sailings to Belfast in 2025.
As part of its brand-new schedules, the company has also introduced a big change: passengers can now book their ferries up to 18 months in advance, giving all you planners out there a little more breathing room.
This is a major shift from the old policy, where you could only book a year ahead.
The change comes after the Steam Packet reviewed feedback from a recent survey, where over 3,000 residents had their say.
They also sat down with local businesses and tourism chiefs to hammer out the details.
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Director Brian Thomson said: ‘We are committed to improving our services, getting back to the high levels of reliability and punctuality we have been known for, and enhancing the customer experience to make sure we provide the best service we can.
‘We’ve listened to our passengers and worked hard to increase frequency, flexibility, and accessibility of our services.’
Steam Packet also confirmed that the Manxman had completed its first round of berthing trials at the new Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool.
