A total of 507 passengers passed through Ronaldsway.
Of the 11 scheduled flights, three ran to time, with five delayed by up to an hour and two delayed by up to two hours.
The easyJet Gatwick flight was cancelled due to issue at the London airport.
The airport said: ‘Due to the inclement weather in the UK, a series of disruptions occurred, predominantly affecting our inbound flights. As a result, departures experienced delays, and unfortunately, the afternoon Gatwick flight was cancelled. We encourage affected passengers to reach out to their respective airlines for further information and assistance.
‘Despite these challenging circumstances, our Air Traffic Control team ensured the smooth operation of 32 runway movements throughout the day.’
