easyJet has apologised for any inconvenience caused after changes were made to to flights between Ronaldsway and the UK.

The airline has rescheduled or just cancelled several flights in the coming weeks, with residents saying they only found out when changes were announced on the airline’s app.

Across social media, residents say the changes have led to issues with connecting to flights headed further abroad or plans to visit friends and families in the UK.

As well as changing some flights, the airline has cut its some of its service down, with those travelling on a Sunday now dependent on the infamously unreliable Sunday evening flight, which if delayed leaves passengers heading to Gatwick arriving.

A spokesperson said: ‘All airlines make some adjustments on an ongoing basis as needed and where any changes to the schedule are made we rebook customers on alternative flights in advance along with the choice to rebook to a different flight or a refund. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

‘We continue to serve the Isle of Man with up to 14 flights a day including up to two times a day to London Gatwick as well as connections to Belfast, Bristol, Liverpool and Manchester.’
