Drivers Ignore One Way System
Yesterday officers reported they had stopped a car for speeding, only for the driver to fail a drug wipe.
Police say they have dealt with two drivers today who tried to go the wrong way up the Mountain.
The Mountain Road is now one way from Hairpin to Creg-ny-Baa for the entirety of TT.
The Roads Policing Unit said: ‘Look at this bad boy [the sign above], three foot square and gives motorists clear information.. well you would think so. Unfortunately in the last hour two herb…. (people) have driven past these heading off from the Creg ny Baa towards Kates Cottage.
‘Fortunately we have a Police unit nearby who could stop them. They have been dealt with accordingly.’
