Racer Suffers Broken Leg

Dafabet Racing has confirmed that rider Matt Stevenson broke his leg in a crash on Tuesday evening.

The Ripon man came off his Superbike at Creg-ny-Baa on the first lap of Tuesday evening’s qualifying session.

After the crash, he was airlifted to Noble’s.

His team said: ‘Unfortunately during first lap of qualifying on Tuesday, Matt fell off at the Creg. In doing that sustained a broken leg. We will update you more when we get it. Get well soon.’

Affectionately named ‘The Mullet’ by fans, Stevenson has recently appeared on Gef as the star of punk rock band Mad Daddy’s ‘Road Racer’ music video.
