‘An immense honour and privilege’
Amber has served in the IOMFRS since 2015
Leading firefighter Amber Carridge has described her attendance at the coronation of King Charles as ‘a day to remember’.
Amber represented the island’s fire service at the Coronation, one of only 20 representatives who were invited from the Fire services across the British Isles.
Having served in the IOMFRS since 2015, Amber has achieved a great deal and risen through the ranks to achieving promotion to Leading Firefighter she also has instructor and maintenance roles.
Speaking after the ceremony she said: ‘It was an immense honour and privilege to have had the opportunity to represent the IOMFRS at such a prestigious event. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen, it will forever be a day to remember.’
