Snow Warning!?!?

Well folks, don’t get too excited yet.

And before you ask, we don’t know if the schools are closed. The chances are they will be OPEN, guys.

The friendly forecasters have warned that an area or rain will affect the island tonight and at first tomorrow, falling as sleet or snow around 1,000ft.

The weather warning is in place from midnight to 8am.

For those thinking of heading up to sledge, or draw an inappropriate symbol in front of the web cams, they do say accumulations are expected to only be slight.

Then, milder air will move in tomorrow morning and lift the snow level.
