Asian Fusion Restaurant Opens in Douglas

A new Asian fusion restaurant has opened its doors in Douglas recently.

The 6th Bite has opened on Prospect Hill and is serving dishes inspired by the culinary traditions of China, Japan and Korea.

The new venue offers both dine-in and takeaway options, with seating for up to around 40 customers inside.

The restaurant was recently visited by the Mayor of Douglas, who dropped in to see what all the fuss was about and meet the team behind the new venture.

In a post following the visit, the Mayor said it was ‘great to meet Oliver & Phoebe’ and to learn more about the restaurant.

And on the food itself, there was a simple verdict: ‘The food tastes AMAZING!!!!’

He encouraged people to head down and try it for themselves, and to follow the business on social media.

The Mayor also wished the team well, saying: ‘Good luck to Oliver, Phoebe and the rest of the team! See you guys soon!’
