Tesco will have 10 stores across the island by the time it has finished converting the Shoprite stores.
Castletown’s Tesco Express opened its doors at 8am this morning, marking the first former Shoprite store to reopen under the brand of the supermarket giant.
With Victoria Road believed to be reopening soon, Tesco will have 10 stores across the island by the time it has finished converting the Shoprite stores.
The next Shoprite store to close is Ramsey’s little Shoprite, which is due to close at 9pm on Saturday February 24.
