One of the island’s most beloved charities, the RNLI, is recruiting for new volunteers.
Port Erin’s lifeboat station is looking for volunteers of its inshore lifeboat crew.
The inshore crew role is based in Port Erin and operates along the coastline of the south of the island.
All boat and shore crew follow the RNLI’s national Competency Based Training Scheme and respond to pagers when there is a request to launch the lifeboats.
The station is looking for good team players and communicators with good general fitness, an ability to learn new skills, live or work within 15 to 20 minutes radius of the station and be between 18 and 55 years of age.
