Santas on a Bike Cancelled

Due to the continued cold weather due overnight and a yellow weather warning now issued, the team behind Santas on a Bike say they have made the tough decision to cancel this year’s event.

The event was due to get underway tomorrow morning and was due to head out from the Grandstand to Castletown and back to Douglas.

Organisers said: ‘For the safety of our riders and everyone involved we believe it’s the right thing to do. We apologise to all our riders, supporters and spectators that were due to come out tomorrow to support our event.

‘A joint statement with the Isle of Man Constabulary Roads Policing Unit will follow later today and we can’t thank everyone enough for their continued support ‘
