Chief Constable Welcomes Cadets
Mr Roberts is due to retire on March 31
Chief Constable Gary Roberts has met this year’s intakes of police cadets, his last before retirement.
Mr Roberts is due to retire on March 31, to be replaced by Russ Foster.
Visiting to impart his decades of experience and greet the new cadets, the CC also gave them insight into what they will be able to take from their next two years as cadets.
The Police Youth Scheme said: ‘We would like to say a massive thank you to the Chief Constable, for all his efforts into making the Police Youth Scheme an amazing opportunity for young individuals and leaving his legacy with us to carry on for many more years.
‘We wish you a happy retirement and the best of luck on your next adventures.’
