Red Arrows Might Still Zoom Over Isle of Man

There was a moment of panic when the Red Arrows published their 2025 display schedule and the Isle of Man was nowhere to be seen.

Had they finally been defeated by the island’s relentless seagull army? Were they just too fast for our new 20mph zones? Was this some sort of Brexit fallout we weren’t aware of?

Turns out, none of the above.

The Isle of Man Government has confirmed that the Department for Enterprise (DfE) has actually submitted an application to get the iconic red jets back for TT 2025.

While the Red Arrows’ schedule doesn’t currently feature a trip over Douglas Bay, a DfE spokesperson has said they’ve been chatting with the RAF, and their calendar isn’t fully booked yet—so there’s still hope.

For decades, the Red Arrows have been a TT highlight, pulling off ridiculous aerial stunts while the rest of us struggle to do a three-point turn in Tesco car park.

If the government’s bid is successful, they could be back in 2025 to once again show off their daredevil skills (all while managing to avoid a £100 fine for breaking the 20mph limit).

So, while we wait for an official yes or no, at least we can rest easy knowing the island’s beloved flying acrobats haven’t ghosted us completely.
