Heartstopper Returns Tomorrow!

Manxie Joe Locke is back on our screens tomorrow as Netflix’s Heartstopper returns for its second series. 

The official trailer has been released on Youtube.

Season two shows Charlie Spring (played by Locke) and Nick Nelson (played by Kit Conner) tackling the challenges that their relationship brings, whilst preparing for prom and for their school trip to Paris. 

Radio Times have released an interview between Locke and Kit Connor where Joe says the relationship between Charlie and Nick ‘is becoming more like a proper relationship rather than a school boy romance’. 

Not only does Alice Oseman further Charlie and Nick’s relationship, but she also enters into the other characters’ lives and advances their relationships including the feels on show between Tao (played by William Gao) and Ellie (played by Yasmin Finney) in season two of Heartstopper. 

Oseman told the Radio Times that this series sees the characters ‘get to know each other and themselves on a much deeper level’. 

Rumours have already begun for the filming of season three of Heartstopper to commence in October 2023. 

Joe Locke, 19, was still at Ballakermeen when he landed the role of Charlie and has gone on to establish himself as a top young actor and model.
