Would You Do Anything?

The Manx Operatic Society is on the hunt for a cast for its 75th anniversary of Oliver! and it is holding pre-audition sessions this week.

Starting on Thursday, the sessions give a chance to run through the audition choreography and any dialogue ahead of auditions.

Designed for anyone aged 14 and over, the sessions will run at 7.15pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening, from this Thursday, until audition weekend.

Director Jeremy Tustin said: ‘A young lonely orphan boy born in the workhouse. He is innocent, delicate, malnourished and compassionate. His longing to find a place where he belongs makes him vulnerable. But he is still tough and feisty when needs be – a good sturdy spirit.

The auditions will be held on the first weekend in September.
