Buddies to Cleanup Course

Beach Buddies is heading inland this week, for its annual cleanup of the Southern 100 course.

Helping to make sure the area looks its best for visitors, Beach Buddies volunteers get together in support of the race organisers.

Founder Bill Dale said: ‘The clean-up usually takes around one hour and starts with a safety briefing at the Southern 100 headquarters where litter pickers, bags and gloves will be handed out.

‘The event is open to anyone, whether you have previously attended a Beach Buddies event or not.’

The cleanup starts at 3pm on Wednesday at the Southern 100 club house.

The Pre-TT Classic gets underway on the course on Friday evening.
