So, with winter barrelling its way towards us like a snowball hurled by a future felon, government has some tips for you on how you can draught-proof your home without spending loads of money.

Draught proofing is easy. All you’re doing is blocking gaps around your home that let cool air in and warm air out. See. Easy. ISN’T IT.

Ways to block gaps include:

• Letterbox covers
• Window seals (not the animal. Don’t be silly)
• Draught excluders
• Heavy curtains
• Rugs on floorboards
• Medium to large alligator.

Government’s Energy Efficiency Scheme actually provides opportunity to get some of the items above FOR FREE. They’re trying to shift the alligators after a kid got eaten.
