Culture Vannin has shared over an hour of interviews it conducted with five men about Peel’s fishing history.

The interviews were conducted as part of Neil Corlett’s short film ‘Spuds & Herring’.

The four interviews, with Paul Desmond, Albert Frost, Sam Morrison, Maynard Campbell and Alan Crellin feature some memories and fascinating insights into the history of the industry from the 1930s through to the present day.

Culture Vannin said: ‘We are extremely thankful to Neil for allowing us to release these interviews in full online, to ensure that these important memories and stories are collected and made available for the future.’
