Olympics Team is Flying the Flag
Before Berlin, some of the team’s swimmers have been in Liverpool at a North West Regional event
The Isle of Man Special Olympics Team is in Berlin this week for the World Summer Games.
Kicking off yesterday and running throughout the week, the games will bring about 7,000 competitors from 190 countries together to represent their countries.
During their time in Berlin, the team will be competing in a several sports against athletes from across the world and, as ever, doing our island proud in the process.

Liverpool
Before Berlin, some of the team’s swimmers have been in Liverpool this weekend at a North West Regional event.
Dawn, Chloe, Ben, Dylan and Edgar all came away with medals, including silvers in the 25m freestyle and backstroke races. The team had a strong afternoon in Liverpool too, where they secured bronze in the 4x25m freestyle event.
