Passengers Raise £12,800 for MGP Club
Passengers show their generosity.
The Steam Packet has handed over £12,830, donated by passengers, to the Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club.
Raised during the MGP period, the figure shows the incredible generosity of passengers aboard the Ben-my-Chree and Manannan.
The Steam Packet said: ‘The Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club was established to assist the event co-ordination by caring for injured riders and bereaved families, as well as contributing towards the cost of hiring rescue helicopters for the event. Without their efforts, the event would struggle to go ahead.
‘Thank you to everyone who kindly donated to Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club.’
