Mountain Closed for Repairs

The Mountain Road is due to be shut until later this evening to allow the DoI to make emergency repairs.

The closure is in place from the Hairpin to Bungalow.

Repairs are needed on a collapsed culvert and the DoI said it plans to have the road re-opened by 8pm.

Earlier this week the DoI reported on an issue in the area of Guthries which led to repairs being made to a hole.
