Airport Boss Welcomes Flybe Return
The Airline is offering routes from Ronaldsway to Belfast and Heathrow.
Airport director Gary Cobb has welcomed the return of purple planes to Manx skies as they will give extra ‘choice and flexibility’ to islanders.
As first reported on Gef last night, the airline is returning to the island, albeit under its new owners, with flights to Belfast and Heathrow.
The airline is selling the flights from Belfast City to Isle of Man starting from £29.99 and London Heathrow to Isle of Man from £71.99, placing it in direct competition with easyJet and Loganair.
Mr Cobb said: ‘We are very happy to welcome flybe to the Island and the routes show the continued strength of the recovery to the aviation industry and passenger volumes to our airport. We believe these routes will add choice and flexibility of which can only be of benefit to the island – something which I know is welcomed, based on customer feedback.’
