As Cool as a Wallaby in a Pond
No kois or wallabies were harmed
A Ballaugh resident has shared the unusual moment his daughter found a wallaby chilling in their pond.
Mark David sent us the video of the marsupial just cooling off on a hot day.
He said his daughter had shouted him to say: ‘There’s something in your pond you may want out.’
Fortunately he said that no koi were harmed and the wallaby ‘managed to jump out itself- unharmed’.
This follows on from earlier this week when a Kirk Michael resident came across a wallaby while taking her dog for walkies.
